You can mint Images (PNGs, JPGs, SVG, GIF), Video (MP4, MOV), Audio (MP3, AIFF, WAV), Documents (PDF, Word, Excel), Trading Cards (Consisting of a front and back image) as well as Multimedia NFTs (a combination of image, video, audio and documents). The cost for minting an NFT can vary based on the blockchain activity. We use Avalanche as our chain for minting and the cost of minting including fees is usually well under 50 cents per NFT.
YES! If you have a subscription of Pro and above you can set up royalties as a percentage (max of 25%) of sale during the minting process. Royalties stay with a contract in perpetuity, meaning your connected wallet will continue to receive royalties for every sale (whether it's on GrandStation or not).
GrandStation receives 1 MATIC (the native token for the Polygon blockchain) for each NFT purchase to cover variable transaction costs as well as credit card processing fee of 2.9% + 30c.
GrandStation currently uses Polygon for minting and crypto sales. Polygon (with it's native token, MATIC) one of the fastest smart contracts platform in the blockchain industry, as measured by time-to-finality. It's extremely efficient and environmentally friendly. Polygon is fully compatible with Ethereum assets, apps, and tooling with faster speeds, higher throughput, and lower fees.
A smart contract is a self-executing contract with the terms of the agreement between buyer and seller being directly written into lines of code living in a distributed, decentralized blockchain network. These can be hard for non-programmers to understand, but using GrandStation, you just enter the meta data and assets you want to mint, set up any royalties and publish the asset. No coding needed! GrandStation currently codes smart contracts on the Avalanche blockchain.
A collection is simply the parent of an NFT. For example; my collection could be called "Flower NFTs" and the NFTs added to that collection would be "Daisy NFT" or "Tulip NFT".
A Brand on GrandStation is what branding you want for the top level of your company. Depending on the plan you sign up for, you may be able to set up one or multiple Brands. For example your company could be a movie studio that has many franchises. Each of those franchises may want to have their own brand site.
To set up your own domain, you will need to have access to your domain's DNS settings. You will simply add a CNAME record pointing to your GrandStation subdomain. Detailed instructions for this are in the admin when setting up a brand.
You can end your subscription at any time and billing will stop at the next payment interval. Your brand site will no longer be available, but your customers can still login and view any NFT purchases.
To cancel or downgrade your subscription go to your account in GrandStation admin, select a new plan or cancel your account. Changes will take effect the next billing cycle.
